Database size varies in BW system

Hello All,

We have analysed the BW EWA report and found that Database size of the system varies every month.

In Augutst, DB size was increased by 20GB from 1400GB  and in SEPT DB size decreased by 30GB. Please let us know how/where to find the cause of the DB size (particulary deletion) and let us know which tcode they used for deleting the data. in the system.

Also let us know if it is normal for BW system?

Hi Subbu,

Follow the below activities.

1.Delete the old requests in PSA.

2.In DSO level delete unwanted data in changelog table.

3.Delete unused Aggregates.

4.In Cube level,Compressingthe databasedonnoof days as per project requirement.

5.In Reporting level deletingorrefreshing the Cache memory.
