GUI Security Settings for Launching of Excel

Dear All,

We have have implemented a custom solution to print forms from SAP that is based on connectivity between SAP and Excel. But each time, the user requests the printing of form, SAP is asking two times for permission to print it. I was experimenting with configuration of custom security rules of GUI and was able to implement the rule that sets the status of one of the rules to allowed by default. However, I'm not able to configure the rule for the request that launches Excel via execution of the following command:

C:/Users/UserName/AppData/Local/SAP GUI/tmp/ZPROGRAM_XXXX.XLS, where XXXX - represents incremental set of numbers that is generated automatically by the program.

Could you please suggest me, how to configure the security rule that will handle this situation as allowed by default?

you can find in GUI CD in the folder DOCU

Hello Ramin,

I've checked on that guide. At the end, we decided to switch the security settings of GUI to disabled and we have no more issues with the launching of Excel.
