Creating Task for Maintanance Project !!!!

Dear all.

When i open my maintainance project, i got to System landscape->Change request-> Create task-> i get the error "Project is not released, Project Cycle cannot be created "

How do i release the project..

Secondly ON clicking the Refresh TAB, I GET THE error "errors during synchronization of landscape".

ny idea???

What is the error log you are getting in slg1 after you clicked "refresh"?The error log will provide some help.
