regarding Prev Maint plan

Hi Gurus,

My requirement to schedule prev maint plan on Every 2nd Tuesday for every 3 month, could you plz guide me how to achieve this.

Create a Factory Calendar for your requirement and Create plans based on it OR Solution could be developed using user-Exit IPRM0002.

Thank you sir...It would be nice if you explain about how to make use of User Exit in this scenario as there are only few plans of above criteria, rest all as normal.

Most of the times for this issue I remember experts suggested and users settled for Factory calendar method. Whereas in User-exit you and you ABAPer will be working together and coding in such a way that only your defined interval calls will be generated others will be skipped. The first method is popular whereas the second method is an idea to be explored by you, if you want to avoid Factory calendar.

Let's see what other experts opine.
