Hi Macro Experts
Appreciate help with this
Calculate the number of Bucket Days elapsed from start of the bucket... not work or calendar days, just bucket days.
The result should be 11 as of today for 'December' Bucket
BUCKET_BDATE
TODAY ()
?
Can't get it right although managed to generate the macro!, I cant see the value written to the key fig
Thanks
BS
All good
This wicked looking label is what is needed in the argument.. Classic SAP's way of hiding things.
F1 help.. Not sure if any one who read it the first time figured out what it means.
In this field you specify, if the values of the row, column, or element are to be used, or its attributes. Attributes are for instance the color of a cell, or whether it is displayed.
The third option allows you to use just the fixed values. Even if a key figure is not fixable, that is no key figure has been assigned to the planning area for the fixed value, you can use this functionality to save fixed values temporarily and work with these values.
And here are a couple of working macros for the purposes. Independently TODAY and BUCKET_BDATE functions refers to a fixed stone age date. So the difference is an integer.
Both giving the same result if executed now. = 12 or 13 for the current bucket (if in months) depending on which time zone the system is on.
However the second macro is cumulative in nature... the more the buckets in the past the more is the elapsed days.
Alles Klar ?
