SAP Sourcing/CLM: Mail configuration not editable

Hello,

Does anybody know why I am not able to edit the mail configuration even with the enterprise user who is having rights to do everything? Is there any system property that is enable the 'Edit' option of mail config that I am missing?

Hi Laura,

Please confirm whether you are using Default Mail Configuration.

If yes, then you cannot edit Default Mail Configuration. You need to duplicate and use the custom mail configuartion.

Thank you very much for your reply. It was really helpful.

The mail configuration I was trying to edit was the default one. I made a duplicate of the default one to create a custom but now I want to inactivate the default one. How can I do it? Because it is non-editable. Should I use a workbook or something like that?

Hello Laura,

No need to inactivating the default mail configuration.

Once you create a custom configuration,then automatically the Sourcing system ignores Default mail configuration and considers only custom mail configuration.
