Issue resolved.

1. Check DBCON, if the connection details are maintained if not maintain.

2. Run ADBC_TEST_CONNECTION in se38 and see if connection is successfull if not see dev_w* files at OS level for errors.

Below is the error after SPS09 Upgrade.

With SAP HANA SP9, the revision indicator in the version number has changed to 3

places (1.xx.xxx).

"Database release is HDB 1.00.090.00.1413897729        54  0.055046

  ***

ERROR => Using non supported HANA version: 1.00.090.00.1413897729

  ***

ERROR => Min. version for this release must be 1.00.62"

1952701 - DBSL supports new SAP HANA SP9 version number

I have this error in one log

___________________________________________________________________________________________________

C  Database release is NewDB 1.00.102.04.1453734118

C  *** ERROR => Using non supported NewDB version: 1.00.102.04.1453734118

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The from here

its important to know that I have 2 SIDs

one CD1  HANA in version NewDB 1.00.102.04 and SD1 MAXDB on version 7.9.07 (This is the SLT and its MaxDB)

Both sids have the same hdbclient

In this version

HDBSQL version 1.00.102.04 Build 1453734118-1530,

and when I run the Transaction se38 and run the report  ADBC_TEST_CONNECTION  with the customer connection

return this

Testing a Database Connection Defined in DBCON

Could not open connection TMPXXXXXXXX20160415134217

DBI error    16  occured.

See trace file for further info:    dev_w**

and when i check in the logs apear the error that i put first

C  *** ERROR => Using non supported NewDB version: 1.00.102.04.1453734118

C  *** ERROR => Min. version for this release must be 1.00.17

I already patched the DBSL on the version

lib_dbsl_620-10007262.sar

But it didn't work for me the system

Reboot normaly

without problems but when I run the se38 for the connection test

It appears in the same way the same issue of

C  *** ERROR => Using non supported NewDB version: 1.00.102.04.1453734118

C  *** ERROR => Min. version for this release must be 1.00.17

I hope that you can give me a hand on this.

Hello Oziel,

As per the screen shot you have the authorization error, please check the DBCO connection strings for user names and check the status of the user in HANA DB whether it is locked or something.

please let me know update on this, this should help you.

also it is recommended to you the same client as of HANA revision , not mandatory but recommended

Yes Tobias, I have checked and below are screenshots.

Also,

We have multiple HANA systems(X & Y) on one server. X is upgraded to HANA SPS 09 and Y is on SPS 08.

Also, we have a SLT where we configure multiple connections to X & Y systems. On this SLT system hdbclient in 1.81.XX, where as on X its 1.90 and on Y its 1.83.

Config related to X has stopped replicating data and Config Y is working fine.

And are you reffereing to multitenant DB feature of HANA? if so, No

Please suggest

Hi Raj,

Also before creation of new SLT configuration for X , ensure that SYSTEM user is activated & not locked. Also truncate the table RS_REPLICATION Component from HANA side before doing the configuration.

Just a query-For X, have you tried with IP instead of hostname? Just check that.
