Change segment numerosity of an IDoc

Xi experts,

I have a file --> xi --> idoc scenario in which I have to populate COND_A idoc.

The COND_A structure is:

IDOC

---- EDI_DC40  maxoccurs 1

---- E1KOMG  maxoccurs 1

.....

.....

Is possible to change maxoccurs of E1KOMG to maxouccurs: unbounded working on XSD scheme?

Or it raise an error when creating the IDOC?

Hi Fabio,

You can change the occurrence by editing the XSD and uploading it as External Definition....however check the IDOC documentation if it supports Multiple E1KOMG...

If not then it might fail in in R/3...

You can do a test run a check if it helps.

just one question: for Interface Mapping I have to create a Message Interface with the external definition?

As you are planning to change the occurrence, yes you need to import it as external definition and create service interface out of it for your interface mapping.
