rule sets trouble shooting

Hi,

Often we encounter issues related to improper set up of rule sets.Thru SLG1 can you inform us how to troubleshoot EM rule sets

Hi Dipak,

When the event handler processed in SAP EM, it goes to several rule activities.

First, It goes to Multitask EH Update Activities rule activities and next Rule Sets activity.

If you look at Rule Sets -> Rules under Reactions to Event Messages in SAP EM system– The event handler process in rule sequence, which you maintained here and same thing it will display in log.

So, check the rule sequence which you maintained for both EH update and rules sets then amend based on your requirement.

If the above solution you are not looking for, then paste the screenshot to guide you in right path.

however can you say how do we associate via the return error code which activity is incorrect?

Yes Dipak,

We would know the process which goes in sequence normally in SAP EM system. 

For example - Loading can't be done before picking, PGI can't be done before loading.

If you give SLG1 log screenshot error code with hiding customer information, we can refer you which one goes wrong.
