IDOC and function modules

Hi Experts,

in a scenario file to xi to idoc,

I have to call a FM to retrieve some values based on input values from file fields.

I know about RFC lookup, my question is: is it possible to create the RFC scenario (with IM, MM...) and integrate it in my File to Idoc Scenario?

Yes It is possible, but it will be more exhaustive task.

First you have to create a RFC scenario then based on values you need to process the IDoc ( 2nd scenario) . You have to make them dependent .

Its a better way to use RFC look up is place of RFC scenario.
