How is your java environment ?
Have ypu specified the java_home and path variables?
If you can see this file on your OS ? And what is the JVM that you are using ?

yes.. JAVA_HOME is specified and is seen in environment variables. SAP JVM 4.1 is used for the system.
PATH variable mentions "/usr/sap/xxx/SYS/exe/jvm/hpia64/sapjvm_4.1.023/sapjvm_4/bin" but this dir doesn't have libjava.so , however the file is placed under "/sapmnt/xxx/exe/jvm/hpia64/sapjvm_4.1.023/sapjvm_4/jre/lib/ia64". Do i change env variable?
I did same config for NW 7.3 but did not got this issue.
