problem in forecast transfer from DP to ECC

Dear Experts

I am facing a problem while transferring forecast from DP to ECC. I followed all steps as recommended by Sap help and in this forum like:-

Created a separate planning book with only 2 std APO key figures of forecast and history.

Created only 2 chars: 9Alocno & 9Amatnr

Only one periodicity (month)

Product split & location split. Forecast entered in DP,

Maintained publication

Activities and Transfer profile created with above planning book. Product and location entered.

Ran the demand planning in background. Got following error:

         Characteristic 100-200  not contained in planning area

For information - 3000 is location, 100-200 is product

You may debug the macro to find out the exact cause.

Sachin - I am not using any macro.

Parves :- I tried as suggested by you, but in vain.

One more thing - I can release this demand to SNP. No error at all.

Is there something to do in CIF? Is there any foreground transaction to transfer to ECC which I will run in debugging mode?

Hi BNR,

can you try to send the PIR via /SAPAPO/DMP2.

have you mentioned the requirement Type and version in the transfer profile?

If you are not using 9ALOCNO and 9AMATNR as your characteristics for Location
and Material you must assign the characteristics you are using for Location and 
Materials to the Planning Object Structure in /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN. Open the
PLOB and in Edit->Assign Product/Location enter the characteristics

I ran /SAPAPO/DMP2. No PIR transferred

I am using standard char 9alocno & 9amatnr. I created history and ran forecast and could transfer to SNP.

Dear BN R,

Use T code- /SAPAPO/MC62

Give the selection and check whether required CVC is present.

If not you can create manually in the same T code.

CVC is there. It was the very first check I did.

On the other hand, if CVC is not correct or not there how can I enter the history and run forecast in /sapapo/SDP94?

Please run consistency check /SAPAPO/OM17 first then transfer DP to ECC.

Hello BN R,

The error clearly says that there is no  CVC combination.

Go to /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN and check is there any CVC existing for product 100-200.
