How update the Netweaver with SP08.

I have installed the SAP Netweaver 7.4 SP05 in my local system.

SAP has introduced the SP08 this month.

Kindly suggest the way to update my existing system with new service pack.

You need to have a valid license.

Roadmap step "Configuration": No valid Maintenance Certificate

If the system doesn't have a valid maintenance certificate at the beginning of the Configuration roadmap step, then errors can occur during this roadmap step.

Trail license could give you issues during the procedure,try to install license first.

-> Request a key

-> System data

-> View and Edit your System data

-> Search for the whole customer on the right

-> pick up a installation number by clicking

-> request new system

-> type in hardwarekey you get from transaction SLICENSE (inside SAP system)

-> SAP will send a system and maintenance license

-> apply license by using transaction SLICENSE

You can upgrade it to required with the help of Solution manager by generating Stack.xml file and use of SUM 1.0 SP12
