Hello SCN

Faceing following problem:

I do a client copy from PRD to QAS with profile SAP_ALL.

Product pictures arent copied. Is there a posibility to copy the pictures too?

Now I notice. Product pictures inserted in SE78 aren't clientspecific?

How to copy them?

Kind regards

Lino

If you are really bothered about getting the images present in the production system to the quality system then the best option would be to do a system copy (DB backup/restore). The suggestions to do an export import of the table STXBITMAPS might not help. If you do a trace on the production system for SE78 you will be able to see the tables involved.

Some of the tables I could see - STXBITMAPS BDSLOIO3 BDSPHIO3 BDSLOIOT3

In SE38, you have the option to create transport.

You can also export the table that included text data for these picture or simply export import it

Hi Divyanshu

Thanks for your reply. But to create a transport only makes sense if there are not this much pictures, right? I think you mean the table: STXBITMAPS?

Kind regards

Yes, STXBITMAPS looks like one of the tables. But not sure, but will have to check on how many other tables are needed for a perfect export import. "Document ID" seems to be one of the key field to me and should be present in other table too(not sure BTW )

May be, you can try by creating a transport for a single graphic and see what tables are included.

Hi Lino,

There is a code available to download the images to local PC and then you may import the same as well..

Download existing Bitmap logo in SAP to your presentation server. - Code Gallery - SCN Wiki

You may also look for option of migrating images as described here

Migrating BDS Graphics into the MIME Repository (SAP Library - Smart Forms)

I would say if you have a sandpit, then test the import on this system.

But if the documentid would be used in other tables, this should be a foreign key, right?

So there are no foreign keys defined in STXBITMAPS.

perfect, I have checked on PK and FK.

So i can export import the table solo?

Typo - "perfect, but I have not checked on PK and FK."

Now, I would again say, do it on a sandbox once.

Hi Sriarm
Hi Kori

Well, thanks for your replies. I know the way with SE78. But I think with more than 100 pictures this isn't an easy comfortable way. I also thought about systemcopy, but have to check that first.

Kind regards.

Hi Lino

I am not sure about the client copy with product pictures, You can perform the homogeneous System copy method to bring all the data from PRD to QAS (QA refresh)
