Hi ,

I have installed the SAP Process Orchestration  on windows 2012 system with Sybase ASE database as standalone system .

I can login to the netweaver administrator  but I cannot login to the SAP GUI .

When I am clicking on SAP GUI , getting the below error.

Please find the below system information from netweaver administration

Thanks & Regards,

Ramana.

Hello Ramana

The SAP GUI can only be used to access systems with an ABAP stack.

As you have only installed a Java stack which is visible from the screenshot you have provided then access to the system using SAP GUI is not possible.

PI systems with ABAP stack is possible only if you install it as a dual stack, so in your case you might need to do the installation once again as a dual stack. As far as I know it is not possible to install a separate ABAP stack to the PI Java system.

Maybe you can check with these spaces.

Installation options for PI/PO - Installation Options - SAP NetWeaver Process Integration - SAP Library

Hi Venkata ,

As per my knowledge PO is completely on Java .

So why are you try to check from SAP Log On Pad .

In your case its normal .

Hi Abhishek,

I want to test some PI connectivity to some Enterprise service Bus source systems.

I have seen in the SAP PI installation document  and PI login through SAP GUI.

I did standalone installation on  Java . In my case where can do my PI related activities?

Thanks & Regards,

Ramana.

Hi Sriram,

Thanks for your support.

I have Installed Process orchestration standalone. I have installed using the Software Provisional Manager . It asks java files only . I have given Installation file.

Do we need ABAP stack also to run PO with PI ?

Thanks & Regards,

Ramana.
