Hi,
I am working on SAP MII 14 SP4.
I configured OLAP connection to connect SAP BW using /sap/bw/xml/soap/xmla service.
It is working fine with http service but we have requirement to connect with https service.
Following is the error with https connection in OLAP query.
Unexpected end of file from server.
Please confirm does OLAP allows https service because in Data server connection there is no parameter to configure protocol (http/https).
Thanks & Regards,
Manoj Bilthare
Yes the protocol does support HTTPS but you will have to ensure you have the SSL layer properly configured to work between the BW and MII server. You will likely have to trace the ICM logs on the BW instance and also on the MII instance to see where the configuration issue exists.
My guess is that you don't have the certificates setup properly, but you can also create a ticket for this in the case that you think you do have HTTPS setup properly.

Thanks Sam,
As you mentioned HTTPS is having issues.
Following are details based on analysis by our MII Team.
Issue is with xmla service and port.
Service URL is having port 443 and endpoint is having different port (8443) because of network setup.
If we modify endpoint port to 443 than its working fine in SOAPUI, so we are assuming this will work into OLAP also after having correct port in endpoint.
Meanwhile we implemented http post to replace OLAP.
Thanks & Regards,
Manoj Bilthare
