Hi!

Is it possible to calculate the interests and installment amount according to the French amortization system, that is 'Equal payments, growth of the principal amortization value, and the decreasing interests values'.

Best regards,

Jing

Hi Jing,

Done some research on the French Amortization process and found that the end result, i.e. the Final Amt (Inst. Amount+Interest Amt)\Payment amt is the same as per SAP Standard functionality.

However, the way to achieve that amt/per installment amt is not which is there in SAP Standard.

For, growing Principal Amortization value, you have to enhance event 3005.This allows you to change the due dates and amounts defaulted in an installment plan.A table, T_FKKINTPLN, with the due dates and amounts from an installment plan is transferred to the event. This table can be changed for application or customer-related requirements.

For, declining Interest values, you have to enhance event 2097.

The prerequisite to the above enhancement is only if you set "Interest Calculation from Source Items" in posting area 1105.

Hope it helps..

Cheers,

Amlan.

Jing,

Sure, why wouldn't it be possible? If it can be specified, it can be coded in ABAP.

Or are you looking for config?

cheers

Paul
