give me the functionality of st01 and st02 transactions
during performance tuning we have some Tcode ST01, ST02 to analyse the system response.
ST01 we need to enable the trace to track the issues
ST02 we can see R3 buffers statistics like hit ratio soon we need to check these values we need to tune the system
for ex: system response is slow may be due to more authorisation or may be due more swaps or due to low hit ratio
these things we can find in these two Tcodes

ST01 is for tracing various kind of activties like:
Input/OUtput
Memory Management
Authorization
etc. It is not loke logging of activities as we do in STAD or ST03N.
For example in ST01 if you select authorization trace then what will happen is that SAP will record every single step (from code perspective as well) that has been performed by users and look for authorization related checks involved.
ST02 tells you the status of your buffers mainly and helps you in tuning them.
