ODBC connection with PI JDBC Adapter

Dear Experts,

is it possible to establish an ODBC Connection via the PI JDBC Adapter?

The PI System is running on Linux with current Release 7.11 SP8

Yes, it is possible. How to do a similar configuration is described in the blog - Connecting to MS Access using receiver JDBC Adapter (Without DSN).

Hi Christopher,

SAP does not support the use of the JDBC ODBC bridge with the SAP JVM.

Please see SAP note 1466766.

Oracle has also stopped supporting JDBC ODBC bridge:https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8038751
