SAP Transaction MAI_TOOLS does not exist

When I try to run the SAP transaction MAI_TOOLS, I get the error 'MAI_TOOLS does not exist'.

The version of Solution Manager I am on is 7.1, SAP BASIS component SAPKB70211.

Should MAI_TOOLS exist in this version? If so, how can I access it?

You must be on SP08.

1st check this transaction in sm01 is MAI_TOOLS exists.

Is locked, then unlock it and run MAI_TOOS with user having required auth like  role SAP_SM_TECH_MON_TOOL

Hi Paul,

What is your ST level? I guess, from your SAP BASIS,  you are under SP 8.

MAI_TOOLS is available in SP8 and later.

Can you execute the report: AC_ALRT_ANALYSIS_TOOLS?

You need the role SAP_SM_TECH_MON_TOOL to call this transaction.
