Web Service returned error.

Hi Experts,

When i am trying to test my interface through the WS Navigator, I am getting the below error:

Web service returned error.

Fault Code: "(http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/)Server"

Fault String: "Server Error"

This is not letting me test further.

Can you please advise how to resolve this error. It will be really helpful.

Hi Aayush,

You need to try with another tool like SOAPui, if the call with this tool is right you can compare its call with the call sended by PI. The "Server Error" can be produced by multiple issues: wrong XML structure, wrong value in the XML and so on.

Hi Aayush,

Try & test your SAP PI Webservice in Altova XML Spy tool or SOAPUI tool and then for testing in WS Navigator.

Post errors incurred in above testing.
