ISAGENT patching does not fulfill the prerequisite

hi

I am using solution manager 7.1 and adding a SAP ABAP system in manage system configuration.

At the check prerequisites phase, I get the error "ISAGENT does not fulfill the prerequisites (installed: 8 SP23, expected: 8 SP024"

On solution manager, system information, I see that the version.

sap.com

ISAGENT

8 SP23 (8.2.3.5.20110913091546)

when searching on SAP marketplace, I cant find the SP24 on support package and patches

please guide.

Is it mandatory to upgrade ISAGENT? if not, how do I download it?

I am getting this error... is it because i didnt put a stack file? SUM is not able to read the sca file..

or should  try jspm? is something to do with SUM?

Sorrrrry my mistake... i should have seen the name of sca package.. its wrong one. i got ISAGENT24_0-10007435.SCA now.

Hi Adrien,

You can only apply the patches and not support pack by selecting the manual option.

For support pack you need a stack.xml file.

If possible deploy the same with SDM tool.

You will get the same error if you don't have stack file. You need to apply with the help of SDM.

Same error.. its strange situacion.. cant use sum, cant use jspm :S

Hi Adrien,

You can use telnet for the same.

follow the below :

telnet localhost 5$$08 (where $$ is the instance number of your solman system)

It will asked for administrator user so enter j2ee_admin and enter. Then it will come to telnet console.

> add deploy

>deploy <location of isagent sca file> version_rule=all

Then it will deploy the component.
