Error in SMP 3.0 : The certificate (chain) is not valid

Hi All

I am working on the customisation of CRM Service Manager 4.1 application and working on the Agentry/Java code.

I am facing an issue with the SMP 3.0 server and I am getting below error

+0400#WARN#com.sybase.security.core.CertificateValidationLoginModule##anonymous#http-bio-8081-exec-2###The certificate (chain) is not valid.

The detailed explanation of the issue encountered

  1. The application was running fine. I made few more changes and deployed the application. While testing the application in the Agentry client I found that none of the changes were updated in the client.

  1. In the logs we found an error related to Java heap space. To solve this issue we followed the link - http://scn.sap.com/community/developer-center/mobility-platform/blog/2014/09/19/smp-30-analyze-and-a...

    2. After this I redeployed the application again. While testing this time in the client I got the error as

     Logging user into the server

     com,syclo.sap.component.serviceorder.css.object.Z_ServiceOrderComponentManager

  1. This java file was created for a customization. Later this file was not used however this never created any issue.
  2. Now since this file was anyways not used I deleted this file and the other java file related to this. Created the jar file and redeployed the application again.

It still gave the same error

  1. The startup.log file contains no error

Note:

  1. I have deleted the Z_SERVICEORDERCOMPONENTMANAGER from the java project and it is not referenced anywhere in the application. Still server is referring this

  1. I have deleted other java files also which were not used in the application and created the .jar file. (SIZE – 5KB)

Still after I deploy the application in SAP management cockpit the .jar file automatically shows SIZE – 22KB , when I check the content on the .jar file it shows those Java classes too which I have already deleted.

This is the detailed issue which I am facing and I assume that the application is not getting deployed correctly in the server.

I need an urgent help in solving this issue.

Any suggestions , Any clue. Please guide.

Thanks and Regards

Neha,

Component managers are defined in the javabe.ini file.  I think you forgot to remove the reference there?

Hi Jason,

I reinstalled the Service Manager application again. This time I deployed the standard application again from scratch . Still when I tested the application in client it gave me the same error

Requesting Public Key from Server

Public Key Received from Server

Logging user into server

com.syclo.sap.component.serviceorder.css.object.Z_ServiceOrderComponentManager

I checked in JavaBE.ini there is no entry which is present for this class.

Also I checked the Z_ServiceOrderComponentManager class entry is present in the SAP config panel.

However this class in not present in the java .jar file , still do you think this can be the issue and I should delete the entry from config panel too ?

Thanks

Neha

By default the Agentry Server get the Pojo information from the Config Panel.  You will need update the value there.

Neha,

Yes I would set that entry's active flag to off in the config panel, or delete it altogether and try again.  I now notice that the component managers are in the config panel.  Turn off the 'Z' custom one.

Just curious. Did you delete or turned off active flag?
