Returns delivery in process . Shipment completed and archived

Hi Gurus,

A returns delivery is showing as in process although shipment is archived and other subsequent documents are also completed.

The preceding purchase document also does not exist anymore.

MD04 is holding onto this qty and showing it . We need to somehow release this stock from MD04.

Any suggestions. Thanks a lot.

Hi

Did you check the quantity in delivery? What is delivered quantity and what is open quantity? If delivery is still being processed then it means its not completed yet and it still needed to be PGR. Check this and update about quantities.

There is just one qty which was shipped. No other qty remains and still the delivery is in process.

Shipment is also completed.

Hello Azim,

Consider below points.

1. Check the document flow of each item, might be any item would be still pending to deliver/billed or later any item was added in order.

OR

2. There could be discrepancy in VBBE table to remove this execute program SDRQCR21.

OR

3. Update the sales order status as "Complete" using t-code V_MACO.

The purchase order link to return delivery was removed by SAP support by removing the reference from LIPS table.

Then the shipment was deleted and the delivery also deleted after that.

MD04 released the demand. So all is well now. Thanks everyone for your help.

Can you post a screenshot with the purchase order history? The flow shows that the movement from 04.01. was cancelled on 28.01.. And as no further movement is visible, it has to be assumed that nothing was done

Btw. Please do not hide numbers, they are essential to identify a relation, no problem if you hide your plant name and storage location name if that may tell too much, but PO number 6000045646 or so does not tell anybody anything about your company

The problem is purchase order does not exist anymore. EKBE returns zero entries.

Also ran the program SDRQCR21. But the MD04 entry is still there.

I cannot get into the delivery in change mode.

Doc flow below shows all subsequent entries after delivery completed or archived.

The preceding PO does not exist anymore.

Assuming that you have archived the PO too and archiving was done in the sense of the name,then this data must still be accessible, it is just outside your table space. ME23N is able to display archived purchase orders, precondition that you have an index on your archives.
