Hello Colleagues,
we are currently facing this error if we try to open objects like Receiver Determination in the Integration Directory.
Does someone know this error and can help us here?

Connection to system REPOSITORY using application REPOSITORY lost. Detailed information: Error accessing "http://xxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx:xxxxxx/rep/query/int?container=any" with user "PIDIRPE2". Response code is 403, response message is "Forbidden"

many thanks for support.
after reboot (SAP restart) access to the objects is without any error.
After a short time error will happend again.
I tried a reboot for some minutes and up to now it works.
SAP Support is on bord and check the system.
Keep inform you about result.

Just a thought -
I see that you have defined a custom user "PIDIRPE2".
Can you verify if that is system user or dialog user? If it is dialog user then try accessing any other page such as http://host:port/rwb to check if the password has expired/requires you to change password?
It's preferred to use a system user though..

Check note #1577924 Behavioural changes in ACL for Repository & Directory. Have you defined specific authorizations to access PI objects in the ESR and Directory? See the link below for details:
User Authorizations in Repository and Directory
Try changing the Exchange Profile/AII properties below and check if that changes the error:
com.sap.aii.ib.util.server.auth.activation
com.sap.aii.ib.server.acl.enable
