Hi,
I'm launching transaction ME54N from a workflow through the UWL in the portal. I have no problems launching the workflow, it's inside the transaction that I'm having a problem.
When inside the transaction, there is an icon on the right side of the screen called Services for Objects. Inside this drop down icon is a lot of different options, and one is called Attachment List. Once this is opened, I select an attachment and click on the Glasses icon, but nothing happens. I get a bunch of javascript errors. I have caught the errors in a screenshot.
This is the code that is erroring...
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers,
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
This is an upload/download issue.
if issue is with the itsdoc.js
What is the SAP BASIS and Kernel of the WEBGUI system?
Does issue with transaction ME54N only occur when you call it from the UWL?
Does it happen when called from the WEBGUI directly?
What is the JVM and Browser version you use?
following notes maybe related to issue here
1790896 ITS Up/down: webgui steals focus of document window
1742433 ITS Up/down: errors and missing functionality

Hi Oisin,
To answer your questions...
What is the SAP BASIS and Kernel of the WEBGUI system?
SAP BASIS is 7.31 sp 6. Kernel is 7.21 sp 321. We could update the kernel, but not basis right now.
Does issue with transaction ME54N only occur when you call it from the UWL?
Yes
Does it happen when called from the WEBGUI directly?
No, the attachment list load the documents fine. It just seems to be through the portal UWL.
What is the JVM and Browser version you use?
I was testing using IE 11.0.14 (KB3003057) and Chrome 39.0.2171.71. As for a JVM, I only have jre7 installed on my machine.
I tested in the WEBGUI and no problem at all. So we think it is an issue with the portal.
Cheers,
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
Keep an eye on the note
2096043 - ITS Up/Down: js error, when webgui is called with
"~disconnectonclose=0"
I believe this not should resolve your issue (once the Kernel correction is released and updated in this note)
Regards,
Oisin
