Value Help List and R3 system

Hello,

I run VC7 from the sneak preview. I want to add a value help list to an input button using the option <b>Add Value Help Wizard</b>. But on the second screen <b>Select Data Service</b> the system list is empty. I know I have properly configured connection to R3 system.

On sap help I see examples based on BI System. See http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/50/91db4238bbf140e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

Is it possible to create Value Help List based on R3 System ?

Have you configured the system and did you a connection test?

Hello Marcel,

I think that my R3 system is properly configured since I have successfully followed the tutorial SALES ORDER.

And also if I defined an input field as a dropdown list and add a dynamic entry list using a BAPI it works perfectly.

I just have a problem with the add value help option and the Wizard.

Please tell me if there is an option dedicated to ADD VALUE HELP Wizard when I create my system.

Even i have tried using value help in VC 7.0 but was not able to do it.

I think there is some problem .

refer the following thread. A work around is given

It's for web service but you can work it on r/3 too
