Creating FF Access request in GRC through IDM

Hello Experts,

Is there any way we can submit GRC FF request through SAP IDM?

If anybody has done such customization then please guide me through your solution approach.

This is a functionality of GRC, why should you do this in IdM?

Thanks for your response.

Yes, Its a GRC functionality and we also want to use same.

We are using IDM for centralized user provisioning and wanted to initiate all user access related request from IDM only, like for business role / Privilege assignment user submit a request in IDM and then IDM submit a request in GRC for approval.

Similary we would want user to submit request in IDM for FF request and IDM should submit the same in GRC and then GRC can provision post approval.

I don't believe that this can currently be done as the products to not integrate on that level.

I'd suggest posting this to the SAP IDM Idea place.

The existing GRC integration framework relies on VDS to pass parameters between IDM and the GRC. It works well for the access request web service in GRC. However the FF request web service call is not included in the framework.

In order to achieve what you want. You probably need to create your web service client program to receive parameters and forward it to GRC web service.
