Solved: Cfolder Standalone

Hi All,

I am doing feasiblity study to integrate Cfolder to connect to MDM,

I have few questions

1. Whether Cfolder can be installed/used with out PLM or SRM or ECC?

2. Whether Cfolder has webservice which can be directly executed?

3. Whether Cfolder can be directly integrated with MDM system?

Hi,

1. Yes, cFolders can be installed standalone.

2. Yes, it has a rich API layer which can be wrapped as web service.

3. Yes, if you wish. NetWeaver MDM I suppose?

But for what purpose would you want to integrate it to MDM?

Hi Prabhu,

To answer your questions..

1) Yes cFolder can be installed on a standalone instance.

2) Yes. cFolder is a web based application and the application will be accessed using http/s service.

3) I have no idea on integration with MDM. You can have a look at the release notes cFolders 5.0 in service market place.
