Is it possible to work in two different DTR in same NWDS 7.0

Hi Experts,

We are working in NWDS 7.0.We have to work on two different Track from two different DTR in same NWDS. We have tried to follow the approach to change the url in development configuration pool every time whenever is needed.But it is not allowing us to do that ,always referring the existing url instead of new one while trying to login. Please help us to fix the issue.

Hi Patralekha,

You can work on two different NWDI servers by forcing NWDS to different workspace.

Create two short of NWDS once for each NWDI. I assume you already use one.

Copy the NWDS short and do the following.

Right click ->Properties.

In Target, you can specify workspace by using –data parameter.

e.g"C:\Program Files\SAP\IDE\IDE70\eclipse\SapIde.exe" -vm "C:\Program Files\Java\j2sdk1.4.2_15\bin\javaw.exe" -data "D:\General\Test"

You can specify the second url in this NWDS.

i don't think it will help. nwdi related information is not stored in workspace for nwds7

But, I have used my NWDS to connect two different NWDI this way.

Now I dont have resource to verify it though.
