Test restore

Hi,

I'm going to perform test restore on productive server. The only thing I want to check is to verify if some files are restoreable. I need to restore one of datafile. Of course I wouldn't like to make restored file working as a part of database. I would like to restore it to another location on the same server.

How can I perform it in BRRESTORE tool.

Hi,

A good point to start is to read the documentation. It is in the same community as this forum, available in PDF (if you want it offline) or HTML for online reading.

an option you have to define is the "mode" and you can indicate the destination directory on it
