MOVE_CAST_ERROR when running SPM Reports

Hi SPM Gurus

I get a system dump in the BW system when running the reports from the SPM interface. The SAP Note 1994366 perfectly describes the situation but we are on BW 7.4 SP 8 already.

Could this possibly relate to the error on SPM 3.0 SP4 when I try to change a user profile? That is: after I have filled in all the fields. "Error while saving the user xxx. Please contact your System Administrator'.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lee,

1994366 solved the problem. (Apply the note, even if you are on SP8)

Hi there

We have not resolved our error as yet. But we have made changes to the system packages. I will be testing this soon and will let you know.
