GRN same material for different storage types

Dear Expert

Same material EX  MAT_01

I want to do GRN high rack and fixed bin storage type.

While create Material master warehouse management view 1

If give stock placement FIX,  this goes to FIXED bin storage type 005.

If don’t give stock placement FIX, material goes to highrack storage type 001.

Here my doubt is

to drive the material, should need to change in material master stock placement?

How to drive the material  without change in material master..?

Please check the storage type search strategies under

LE---WM----Strategies----Activate storage type search

it seems you for storage type indicator fix the storage bin is defined as 005 and for storage type blank hence when there is no indicator in material master it goes to 001 when u define Fix then it goes to 005

Yes what you understand is correct

storage type search FIX for 005 blank for 001

same material it is not possible to maintain with FIX and blank..

i need to GRN for 005 and 001 how to overcome this problem

You are right you can define only one storage type indicator in Material Master but you can define the storage type sequence in the below mentioned  link as per your requirement e.g. 005, 001 (once 005 is full then system will propose the bin from 001)
