HANA Database Backup/Restore Method of Copy

Hi,

Can anyone guide me the steps/SAP note for Native HANA system copy? We have a requirement to create a new Native HANA system say DV2 from the existing HANA development system DV1.We need to ensure that all the HANA models should be working in DV2 system after system copy without deploying/importing it again.

We are planning to use backup/restore method to perform the copy.Backup from the DV1 system will be used to restore the DV2.

The Requirement Scenario: ECC-->SLT-->HANA(DB)

Hi Pavan,

I am using Native HANA only.This note will not work for us.

How you have taken care of the public synoyms of the SLT schema after restore?Do you have to redploy the models after restoration?

This has been resolved.. Public synonyms import has to be done after HANA system restore.
