Uploading master data taking too much time

Dear Experts,

We are uploading a file to sap via LSMW, one record is taking 3 minutes to upload, we have got around 1,32,000 records, so the amount of time taking will be too much. How we can speed up the process? Is there any other method to upload the data into sap.

recording in LSMW is just one out of 4 options as you can see in step 1. And recording is certainly the slowest. Recording shall be used if no other method is given by SAP.

Unfortunately you did not say what you actually load.

We are  uploading the financial data to the table t510 with the method BDC in LSMW.

Hi Philip

You can select the few records for sample run, enable the trace by using transaction code ST12, check the over all upload performance where it is getting takes long time with help of ABAPer you can take call.
