Confirmed quantity in a STO ??

Hi Everyone,

We have a custom report in our system which gives over all view a of a material quantity at plant level in different columns like  quantity in SO's, STO's ,In stock and In Transit .

Here Business wanted to add a logic for checking the quantity in two ways for SO's and STO's.

1.Quantity which is Confirmed in Orders and STO's.

2. Quantity which is Unconfirmed in Orders and STO's.

For the SO's we are managed to get all the required fields for the calculation of confirmed/unconfirmed quantities.

In STO's for confirmed Quantity we are checking the table EKET - MNG02 field ,This field contains the committed quantity for STO, Here the problem is in most of the cases this field is blank in Production system.

So we can not use this filed for the calculation of confirmed/unconfirmed quantity .Please give some advise in which scenarios this filed will get updated.

Please help me if know any other way to fine the confirmed quantity in a STO.

check your configuration settings if checking rule is assigned to the combination

Doc.type+plant+delivery type+checking rule

under stock transport settings

Hi,

Is your requirement is to consider the quantities in transit also as confirmed quantities or the Qty which has been received through MIGO?

If it is the second case then check the values in EKBE Table by passing the P.O Number and check LSMNG.

If we are creating a STO from Plant A to plant B for quantity of 1000.

What is quantity that will be committed for this STO, From which table entry can i get that committed value ?

Hi,

First confirm with your Client whether they need the stock in transit qty or the qty which has been received through MIGO.

Let other experts provide their suggestions too.
