Missing DC's mail and servlet after upgrade to NW 7.40.

Hi

We are upgrading our SAP CRM b2b webshop solution to NW 7.40 SP08. We are busy with conflict resolution process. Target: CRM 7.03 SP06

Currently, we have two unresolved DC dependencies for shr~ext DC for  two  dependent DCs “mail” and “servlet”.

In earlier version (NW 7.01) these DCs were included in SC sap.com_SAP-JEE_1 , and SAP-SHRWEB had a SC dependency on SAP-JEE_1.

In NWDS, SC SERVERCORE is not available under track but under local development. I tried to add SC SERVERCORE  to our track but the import fails because the SC does not contain sources.

What should we do?

Can we somehow define a dependency in SAP-SHRWEB to SERVERCORE?

I found the solution myself.

1) Add a SC build dependency within component SAP-SHRWEB to SC component SERVERCORE within the SLD.

2) Within NWDI, update CMS.

3) Put SERVERCORE.SCA in inbox directory of CMS.

4) Check-in SERVERCORE.SCA in Dev of track.

5) Go to track in change mode. Run Synchronize SC dependencies.

6) Save the track. The NWDI (CMS) system will pop-up. Confirm that you accept the SLD definition.

7) Do "Save and re-import" to update the build-space of the track.

😎 After that, I imported SERVERCORE.SCA in Dev of track. This was not possible in my first attempt where I just added SERVERCORE to the track as main component.
