Storage location determinatoin from multiple location in 1 plant

Dear All,

Need Valuable inputs .

For  picking the storage location determination in outbound delivery ,done the config as per below  snap shot.

Now when we have material available in different storage location,for the parent item Storage location field is showing blank

Storage location is picking for the Batch split line item(Child item)

How to determine the material from different storage locations under one  plant for both parent and child item

Hi,

Are you using BOM in this case? Actually, I'm getting confused with Parent/Child.

Or are you referring to Batch-split items as (Child)?

Your screen shot shows only one Storage location assigned to one plant. so where is multiple storage locations for a material from a plant..?

Could you give more details of the flow from sales order to delivery of ur materials in this case

Please refer the below screen shot,

1 material available  in different Storage locations,in 1 plant

As per my config in OVL3,picking location determination,1 storage location is assigned for each plant.

When the material is available in different storage location,it is not determined in main item -Refer screen shot below.

Hi,

If you are manufacturing the materials in same plant and they have been maintained in different storage locations.

Make use of storage conditions (SC) in configuration with shipping point+plant+SC- SLoc.

Use same storage condition field  in material master one of the views "Plant data/storage1

so that storage conditions maintained in material master it checks storage location when the material is being delivered.
