BP number of root node is reset after SRM upgrade

Dear SRM Gurus,

We have currently upgraded our SRM system to SRM 7.02 version.

In the initial check of the organization structure using BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE, we have noticed that there was an inconsistency for some organization nodes.

We have clicked on the "Start Repair" button to fix the consistency errors.

The system has resolved all the consistency errors for all the organization nodes that were with errors.

Now they all are consistant.

However, the business partner numbers for those nodes are set to 2, 3 ,4 etc.. which are not in the BP number range.

The root node is set to the BP# "2" as shown below.

Can you please suggest a solution on how to resume to old BP numbers?

Or is this the standard behaviour/repir process system will perform?

Hi,

If you know the earlier BP numbers for each of these nodes, you first need to make BP to Org relationship editable in OOVK and then in PP01 amend the BP numbers. There is no quick fix for this issue. Also, please re-check the BP number range in SPRO before you do it.
