Error: Exception on the server while deploying the application

Dear Expert.

I have created UI for Create Purchase Request using NWDS 7.3-EHP1-SP13-PAT0000.

When I am trying to deploy it gives the error like below screen capture.

Does it may the cause at server side (AS Java) ?

As in the application manager "Java Foundation" is showing "Failed to start".

I have no clue how to fix this as I am fairly new to VC.

Please Advice.

Hi all,

The error resolved.

It was because of wrong instance number in AS Java server.

e.g

Host name: abcde

Instance Number : 0   ( Earlier it was 00)

I'm not sure about all possible reasons, the most trivial one is the J2EE engine is "stopped":

Could you please share the screenshot of the application manager? Just to be sure we're on the same page

Hi Dipen,

I see by the screenshot that I'm not familiar with the Application Manager - sorry. If it means that the J2EE engine fails to start, then surely deploy on the server won't work.

As far as Visual Composer is concerned, it's always possible to try in a new Development Component and Model, just in case - it's the fastest thing.

In any case - you could open a ticket for this so it is handled either in VC or by another relevant component (it would be easier to share more relevant info in the ticket).
