[MDGM] How to display material code in mass material validation log?

We use the standard "File Upload" in MDGM menu for changing materials in one time.

When running validation before activation, some standard messages display to tell the error reason in the validation log.

But they do NOT tell which material code is wrong.

Is it possible to make these standard messages also tell the material code?

This is a known issue concerning Material Validation. It originates from technical reasons. We will update you when a solution is available. You might also open a customer ticket.

Dear Hu,

As per the attached logs it is taking about the Base unit of measure in not maintained and it is for all the material your are trying to load.

  it is the basic need of Material Master  check the Base unit of measure.

Besides the error message contents such as "Base unit of measure is not maintained", is it possible to display the error material number in the same time.

It will be helpful the message looks like quoted part as below.

"Base unit of measure is not maintained. (Material Number: $1933)"

$1933 is assumed as the material number for which Base unit of measure is NOT maintained.

Hi Liang

In stead of running validation log it you try to excute in final step (Inside system excutes validations).

Then it mentions record number in the log which can be helpful and you can locate errorious record with material number
