SAP Sourcing/CLM: Document Security Template Error Message

Hello,

After creating a document type, I created the document security template for this type.

Afterwards, I inactivated the document security template because I wanted to create a new one for that document type (due to some customer requirements).

The inactivation was fine but when I was trying to create the new document security template I got this error message:

Does anyone know what is the issue?

Hi Laura,

Yes as the message indicates there can only be 1 security template per doc type / document.  If you want to keep the old security template for later use, you will need a new doc type so you could create another security template.  Otherwise just change the contents of the current security template and make it active.  Making it inactive is not sufficient to create a new template for the same doc type.
