Hi Chandra ,

Hope you are doing good.

Are you using AIX? The startup framework is not correctly resolving the name of the JVM

shared library. Please see note: 1567875 - AIX/IBM i: Startup framework uses wrong jvm library

Now, you need to be on the latest kernel level so that this note can be applied.
It will be great if you make sure of this; only then the server will recognise the parameter.

The below links will help you if there are any queries with the kernel update procedure

SAP Note No. 1636252 - Installing a 7.20 kernel in SAP Web AS
                       7.00/7.01/7.10/7.11
SAP Note No. 1629598 - SAP Kernel 720 will replace older
                       kernel versions
SAP Note No. 19466   - Downloading SAP kernel patches

Hi Chandrashekar,

R3trans -d will not work for java systems.

Is your portal is connected to Backend system ABAP?

If 'YES' then you need to check the ABAP side , it may happen that gateway service of ABAP may be down or it has become inactive.

Try to start the portal system after deleting all the process.

One is ABAP  stack ,other is portal.ABAP stack is up.

Gateway service is running.

How can i attach logs?

If possible stop abap and clean shared memory and start abap and java.

Also check default trace for actual reasons

Great news chandrashekar .
However, do check my last memo and update the kernel asap.

You need to check the gateway on host 205.235.102.32.

The other thing is, can you upload restart portal and upload std_server0.out and last 500 lines of default trace.
