Please i want to change the month-axis in the chart below from number to Month Name

How can I do that please

Hi Ade,

You can use Merge functionality to achieve your requirement.

Workflow :-

1. Create/Edit visualization on top of any data source with columns Month_Number, Sales etc.

2. Create new Dummy Excel file which has Number of months (1 to 12) with respective Name of month (Jan to Dec)

3. Go to Prepare Room in Lumira.

4. In "Combine as" option select "Merge…"

5. Click on add new Dataset.

6. Select the Dummy Excel file with Month number and month name.

7. Choose appropriate linking element form list and click on Merge.

8. Now we can see the number of month and name of months in the prepare room which you can use to create visualization.

Hi Ade,

I don't see any direct function in Lumira to convert month number to month name. I do agree with

Tammy Powals to replace based month number ie; month = 1 replace with Jan/January , month = 2 with Feb/February ..and so on...

If your data source is excel file, it is better to have additional column in excel and use simple excel formula ie; =TEXT(<month number>,"mmm")

Hi Ade,

What is your data source?  Could you do a replace in the Prepare room - e.g. if month=1 replace with January?
