IBase for ChaRM after moving it to Production

Hello Experts,

The Production system already has an IBase created where Incident Management is running. Now that we have configured ChaRM (Urgent Change) and planning to move it to Production system, my query is:

Do we use the same IBase while creating Project in Production system? or generate a new one, which will affect the already running Incident Management (ZMIN) ?

Any help in this regard is much appreciated.

Also.. Will the existing open incidents (ZMIN) be impacted? and what are the precautions to be taken in order to maintain the existing incidents?
