SRM PDP

Hello All,

Looks like with EHP4, PDP wont happen using BBP_EXT_TRANSFER but

will happen using PI integration. Do we still have to maintain an entry channel

for local Pur Org, Pur Grp, RFC User??. Please throw some light.

Thanks,

Sachin

Hi Sachin,

From SAP_APPL 604 and SRM7.0 above, you can use SOA to transfer PR instead of report.
However report is still available for you to use it in such system version.

if you want to use SOA, please refer to the following doc to do configuration:

    SAP SRM

      SAP SRM Server 7.02

Configuration Guides for SAP SRM 7.0 EHP2

Here please download document "SAP SRM 7.0 EHP2: Plan-Driven Procurement"

From page 66, it talks about 'Settings for External Requirements from Enhancement Package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 Onwards'.

Thanks Ivy for the useful info. Please confirm the two:

1. I don't think report BBP_EXT_TRANSFER can be used anymore on and after ECC EHP4. It has to be SOA.

2. Does one need to still maintain entry channels by creating local Pur Org, Pur Grp, RFC User etc in SRM org structure for PDP in ECC EHP4 onwards?

Thanks,

Sachin

Hi Sachin,

1, Yes, I am sure it is fine to use report in higher level as long as you keep ERP type as ERP_3.0 or below.

2, if you use SOA, then PI user should be maintained well in SRM side, not the RFC user.

Best regards,

Ivy
