Hi Sriram.
Our SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4 is based on SAP BASIS SPS 2, it's a new installation and i'm affraid that if i want to upgarde this system to SPS 11 by SUM, the operation fails !!
Any idea how we should planned our upgrade !!

Tarik,
Are you on NetWeaver 7.01 (7.0 EhP1)? If so, then sps11 is the minimum support stack for SQL 2012 support. The MSSPROCS report you're trying to run, etc, will require this before you can proceed.
You should be able to apply the most recent sps to your system, however. SAP does support new installations onto SQL 2012 as long as you immediately apply the updated sps right after the installation is complete. Why do you think SUM won't work?
Also, bear in mind that sps11 is a minimum; there's no reason not to go for the latest available sps -- you don't have to go to precisely sps11, just at least sps11.
Regards,
Matt
Another point to consider is that for ERP 6.04 / NW 7.01 you don't have to use SUM to apply support pack stacks if you don't want to. In fact, I wouldn't. You can still use SPAM for the ABAP support packs and JSPM for the Java support packs (if you have any Java systems in the ERP landscape, such as a Portal). SUM will work, but it will probably be quicker and easier with SPAM in this circumstance.
thank you for your help,
I have followed the instructions of the SAP note 196584, but when i run the MSSPROCS report, i can't find these options :

Hi Tarik,
Did you check Note 1965384.
Although it describes an error after the upgrade, it might be the same situation too, as the error is the same.
