After update to SP05 Hotfix06 the RSOE Services remain in status "starting"

Hi there,

after updating the Afaria Server to SP05 Hotfix06 the Afaria Server is running fine, but the "Relay Server Outbound Enable Services" remain in the status "starting". 

There is nothing in the Service Logs.

The relay server log says:

I already tried to reboot booth servers several times and double checked the config....

It would be great, if someone has a clue for me....

Jens,

Was this just a HF install or the service pack as well?  What version of relay is this?  Check the Outbound enabler folder on the Afaria server and make sure that your rsoe.config files have not been moved/removed.

Great Tipp! The Folder were renamed to RSOutboundEnabler_Backup. The new one contained no config files. so just a copy job to fix the problem.

That is kind of what I thought it might be.  We backup the folder and create a new on service pack installs.  I am very glad to hear everything is working.  Have a great week!
