Error in publishing universe in Repository

Hi Guru,

I've created a universe(SAP HANA Business Layer)  based on HANA Views.  I tried to publish my universe into  repository, I'm getting error..

Need help.

Hi

As Shail said by above,  I think your universe is point to local connection (CNX), but it should point to secured connection (CNS).


So change the connection to secured and then try to publish again.

Hi Samuel,

I guess, you are using local connection (CNX) instead of secured (CNS).

Can you please double check, if this is root cause?

Hi,

Hope you have created data foundation and business layer over a local connection.

Hence in order to publish the HANA business layer we need to first publish the connection and then point the data foundation to the published connection shortcut(.cns).

But iam trying to publish my universe to repository, I'm getting error..

I've some doubts.If  need any user authentication in CMC for accessing HANA DB??

Hi,

First you need the publish the connections(Local or secured) to repository and then publish the Business Layer to repository from File menu->Publish->To a repository

I am not sure whether user required any authentication in CMC for accessing HANA DB
