Purchase Order not found for Workitem / Approve Purchase order Fiori App

Dear Experts,

We are trying to implement the Approve Purchase Orders Fiori Application Wave 2, and we are experiencing the following issue:

After login to the Launchpad, the launch tile of the app appears with 0 items to approve; then right after clicking to open the app, It though an error Purchase Order not found for Workitem with workitem number, and the workitem number is same as in the backend.

We are using a custom workflow and specified the workitem id on backend; SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing ->

Purchase Order -> Approve Purchase Orders App -> Specify Workflow Task IDs for Approve Purchase Orders App.

Custom workflow item is appearing properly on backend system inbox. We tried with the SAP standard workflow for PO Approval and its working perfectly fine.

Is there any configuration tasks we are missing? Do we need to specify the Scenario definition and taskprocessing for wave 2 apps ??

It would be a great help if someone could help us with all the necessary steps of configurations for wave 2 applications with custom workflow.

Hi Shinto,

A root cause is the custom task.

You should adjust workflow container in the custom task to match with workflow container in SAP standard task, if you do not use the standard task.

Please ask the consultant who created the custom task. The person has knowledge how to adjust workflow container.

One quick clarification. Do we need to specify the scenarios in Gateway system for wave 2 applications ?

You can find information in help.sap.com.

App Implementation: Approve Purchase Orders - SAP Fiori Apps - SAP Library

It does not say anything about scenario.

Hello Shintojoseph,

did issue Resolved , can u please share the RCA

I am also facing same issue with Custom workflow, we ask the workflow consultant to activate the standard one

Can u please share the standard workdflow number and Task id

Fiori side and backend configuration is Good , only error we can see when end user opens fiori launchpad workiteam displays zero

But pending approval for the particular user can see 04 in backend system
